The Fair Lawn Public Schools establishes three (3) emergency snow days built into the school year calendar. Any unused days are given back as noted in the annual school calendar notes.

To date, one (1) snow/emergency day has been used. There are two (2) remaining snow/emergency days that will be given back this year unless they need to be used for emergency closing in the coming weeks. The district will utilize any remaining snow/emergency days as give-back days for Memorial Day Weekend as follows, contingent upon any future inclement weather:

2 unused snow/emergency days: May 24 & May 28
1 unused snow/emergency day: May 24
