On this last day of September and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we honor young folks and their families/loved ones affected by pediatric cancer. Fair Lawn High School students and staff “Go Gold!” to highlight the importance of supporting childhood cancer research.

A huge congratulations to Lindsey Samuel and Nitin Krishnaswamy who have been accepted into The Governor's School of New Jersey program this summer! 🌟 The highly-selective program provides an educational opportunity for high school juniors at two programs: Governor's School in the Sciences at Drew University and the Governor's School of Engineering & Technology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Lindsey will be attending Governor's School in the Sciences at Drew University and Nitin will be attending the Governor's School of Engineering & Technology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Your hard work, dedication, and passion have truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of you for achieving this remarkable milestone. ✨
FLHS (June 17, 2024) – Congratulations to the 56 FLHS students who received their Seal of Biliteracy! The Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by the district in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages – one of which is English - by high school graduation. The students attained the seal in 15 different languages: Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian, Chinese, French, Georgian, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. In addition, 7 of the 56 students also earned the Trilingual Award. These students demonstrated proficiency in three languages.
Mrs. Liliana Lopez, Supervisor of World Language, Music and ML, presented each student with their Seal of Biliteracy Medals, the Trilingual Awards, and a bouquet of flowers.

After the AP Physics exam, students in Mr. Altunkaya's AP classes have been designing, engineering, and building mechanical vehicles which compete to be "King of the Hill". They apply various aspects of physics to be victorious.
