Meetings will begin at 7:30 P. M. and take place on the fourth Thursday of each month as a Regular Monthly Meeting, unless otherwise noted (*indicates not fourth Thursday of the month). The meetings are held in Room 19 at Thomas Edison School, 37-01 Fair Lawn Avenue, Fair Lawn, New Jersey for the ensuing year. The Board will post notice of these meetings in the borough hall, library, and district schools. Notices will be forwarded to the local newspapers. The Board may, during the school year, elect to have a public work session to discuss potential action by the Board. The Board will continue to work with a committee system. This will require committee meetings that will include a quorum of the Board and will be announced. It is the intent of the Board to comply with the Open Public Meetings Act of the State of New Jersey. In doing so the Board shall post notice of meetings with the local newspapers and at public places throughout the borough. The meetings, which are planned for the 2024 calendar year, are listed to the right of this notice. Any changes in the regular schedule will be voted on by the Board and posted under the Public Meeting Information section of the district website. The meetings posted here shall be in effect until the next Organization Meeting of the Fair Lawn Board of Education.
