Happy New Year!

Students are hard at work in 4 Reilly.  They are working hard on their literary essay, have started work on their Lenape project, are finding the area of irregular shapes, as well as understanding nonfiction in reading.  This week, students will continue to listen to Sign of the Beaver as 4Reilly's new read aloud.

Important Information:

Students will have a mathh assessment early in the week (either Monday or Tuesday) the week of January 22nd.

Soles for Souls is still collecting shoes for the homeless.  Bring in your old shoes to help this amazing cause.

Students have a spelling list this week, look in take home folders on Monday.  Lists will also be posted to the website Monday evening.

Our root for the week is ped/pod- (foot).  Jot down any words you come across with ped/pod as the root so we can add them to our class list.

If you have not already done so, please be sure to log on to Genesis and make sure all of your child's information is up to date.
